Racist (?) recruitment ads by McDonalds

We have to admit that on the first look this ad has something of a racist tone to it, but at a closer look you’ll see that this is actually a clever twist. Found in Sweden, these ads actually showcase McDonalds as one of the most diverse employers in the country, without loosing their funny tone of voice so typical for the McD campaigns across the globe.

A Story told in 9 Billboards

It’s a little odd that one of the best Outdoor campaigns I have ever seen comes from the year 1989, but I’m sure you will agree with me when I say the campaign showcased would work as good or, through increased communication between people,  even better today. The campaign was initiated in the US city of Boston, and it led to crazy amounts of unpaid PR within the city limits and nationally.
