The thin line between good and bad advertising: Doc Morris Print Ads (Update: Grey apologizes!)
Doc Morris is an Internet pharmacy which now has started a campaign in Germany advertising their condoms with the hairstyles of Hitler, Mao and Stalin, the message obviously being that these births could have been prevented if people would use condoms. In our opinion this might be a cool idea but somehow it doesn’t work as well as other ads which are similar in style, such as the ads we featured in an article a while ago. (Update: Grey apologizes)
Maybe it’s just a natural barrier for us to laugh about something that shows or reminds of Hitler or Stalin, even though we know of course that it’s meant to be funny. But anyway, make up your own opinion and tell us what you think!
